In concise short presentations, we will address specific aspects of mycology – from the therapeutic potential of medicinal mushrooms to regional mushroom occurrences and biochemical peculiarities. Whether tropical mushroom worlds, traditional healing systems, or the cultural significance of mushrooms – each evening brings new perspectives and unexpected insights into the realm of fungi.
The formats are diverse—sometimes focused, sometimes provocative. There's always ample time for discussion and exchange afterward. Scientific Impulses is a format for everyone who wants depth – and not only wants to see the invisible, but also understand it.

Venue
Room D is located in the Museum Quarter at Museumsplatz 1, 1070 Vienna. Access is via Courtyard 8; the room is located on the ground floor. It's not far from the U3 Volkstheater station.
