Have you ever marveled at wonderful pictures of other-worldly slime molds but wondered why you never seem to find them yourself?
Join UK slime mold photographer Barry Webb and local expert Ehab Edward, on a two hour walk in Lainzer Tiergarten woods to learn the secrets of where to look and how to discover slime moulds. We will explore various habitats where slime mold can typically be found.
Learn how a simple x10 hand lens and a small torch can reveal the usually 'unseen world of slime mold.' Barry will also demonstrate how he creates his inspiring slime mold images.

Barry Webb
Barry lives in the UK. He has specialized in taking photographs of slime molds for the last six years. He uses focus bracketing and stacking to create his images: often taking 100+ pictures to create a finished, stacked image. His images have won major international competitions and have been published in magazines and books worldwide.

Ehab Edward
For 14 years, Ehab has devoted himself passionately to macro photography. With his camera, he explores the hidden worlds of nature, focusing particularly on slime molds and insects. He transforms these often overlooked life forms into striking image compositions using light, perspective, and patience.
